Special edition Medica Academica: Remarkable interview with the “Path breaker” in Transplant

A pioneer and an exceptional strategist, Prof. Dr. Irinel Popescu presented, in an interview in the April issue of Medica Academica, the story of a surgeon and unknown details about the team of surgeons he works with every day, while saving so many patients’ lives.  Since June, 19, 1997 – the first liver transplant, up to August, 1, 2009, 200 liver transplants have been made.
